MOMS AWESOME TRADITION My favorite childhood Thanksgiving tradition wasn’t exactly the big feast! After the excitement of prep and family arrivals, and the big feast and all that kitchen clean-up, we all plopped in front of the TV for an evening of football & our first holiday movie. “Where’s Mom”? one of us 7 kids would observe, to which we’d hear a far off reply – “Just finishing up a few dishes!” Brilliantly just enough information to help kids decide not to mosey back into that kitchen!
